Zach received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego, where he double-majored in both Political Science and Russian & Soviet Studies.

From there, Zach was offered a full scholarship to Chapman University School of Law in Orange, California. While studying at Chapman, he was an Articles Editor for the Chapman Law Review, as well as a competitor for both Moot Court and Mock Trial Teams.

After graduating and being admitted to the California bar, Zach spent several years in Orange County working as a litigator, representing individuals and small businesses in all aspects of litigation from personal injury to contract disputes. After representing several physicians in business-related matters, Zach discovered that he has an interest in continuing to represent health care providers in all kinds of matters.

Originally from Thousand Oaks, California, Zach decided to return home and he joined SCHAEFFER COTA ROSEN LLP in 2013. He brings with him his strong litigation skills, and his zeal for defending his clients in the best way possible. Zach’s interests include reading, writing, history, and anything related to San Diego sports. He can often be found going for a hike with his wife and Pembroke Welsh Corgi, or simply enjoying a good book.
