DANA GARBER

Dana graduated cum laude from California Western School of Law. While in law school, she served as an Associate Writer and Senior Editor on Law Review. She also served as a clinical intern for the California Innocence Project, managing her own cases and clients. Dana has worked as a judicial extern in both the U.S. District Court and San Diego Superior Court. Dana received the Academic Achievement Award in Juvenile Justice and consistently made Dean’s List. She also mentored first year law students as well as new members of Law Review. She earned her Juris Doctor in 2018. 

Prior to joining Schaeffer Cota Rosen, Dana lived in San Diego for 8 years where she obtained her undergraduate and law school degrees. Before making the move to Ventura, she worked as an associate attorney for a medical malpractice defense firm in San Diego where she developed a true interest in the practice area. Dana is a native to Asbury Park, New Jersey, but is excited about this new chapter in her life in Ventura County. In her free time, Dana loves reading novels, bike riding along the beach, socializing with friends, and exploring the central coast.
